How to get there
The village of Hella is located on road # 1 between Selfoss and Vík. Coming from Vík: drive road # 1 to Hella. Fosshótel Mosfell is situated on the right side of the main road in the “center” of Hella, just after a petrol station and a small supermarket on the right sight and before crossing the bridge. Across of the hotel is a bank. Fosshótel Mosfell is a 2 story white building with car park in front. Coming from Reykjavík or Selfoss: Fosshótel Mosfell is located on the left side of the main road, just after crossing the bridge and next door to a petrol station and small supermarket. There is a nice walking trail along the river in Hella. Here you find also a nice public outdoor swimming pool with hot tubs. There are several restaurants in the village.
