This is an ultimate tour with suitable time spent at Iceland´s major nature spots. Explore dramatic landscape and some of the world’s finest waterfalls like Gullfoss, Goðafoss and Skógarfoss. Visit erupting geysers in the great Geysir hot spring area, a world heritage Thingvellir National Park. Enjoy Vatnajökull glacier, the glacial lagoon Jökulsárlón and many other unique places.

Day 1: Arrival in Iceland. Overnight in Reykjavík at any of our three Fosshotels or similar.
 
Day 2: Explore the scenic Whale fjord and the saga valley Borgarfjordur. Two nights in the Borgarfjörður area at Fosshotel Reykholt or similar.
 
Day 3: Explore Snæfellsnes peninsula with its snow-capped volcano, stunning coastline, lava fields and bird colonies.
 
Day 4: Drive north to Skagafjordur, the valley of the horses and home of Glaumbær turf farm. Two nights at Fosshótel Dalvik, North Iceland or similar.
 
Day 5: Drive to Siglufjordur, the herring-fishing capital of Iceland, and visit the historic sites of Holar.
 
Day 6: Visit the island of Hrísey or enjoy an option whale watching cruise at Eyjafjörður fjord. Explore Akureyri, the capital of North Iceland, and Goðafoss, the waterfall of the gods. Three nights at Fosshotel Laugar or Fosshotel Husavik .
 
Day 7: Explore the sights of Lake Mývatn. Optional evening whale watching cruise from Husavik (June-August).
 
Day 8: Drive around Tjörnes peninsula and Europe’s most powerful waterfall, Dettifoss (mid-June – August).
 
Day 9: Long drive to Egilsstaðir and along the scenic fjords of East Iceland. Overnight in Fosshotel Vatnajökull near Höfn or similar.
 
Glacier lagoon on the South Eastern part of IcelandDay 10: Enjoy Vatnajökull glacier, including spectacular glacier lagoons with fantastically shaped icebergs floating in sky blue water and unique Skaftafell National Park. Overnight at Fosshótel Skaftafell or similar.


Day 11: Drive along the south coast and witness many natural wonders such as black lava beaches, waterfalls and glaciers. Stay for three nights in the area of Hella at Fosshótel Mosfell or similar.
 
Day 12: Explore Þjórsárdalur valley with the waterfalls Háifoss and Hjálparfoss, the stunning ravine Gjáin and the Viking ruins of Stöng.
 
Day 13: Visit Gullfoss waterfall, Geysir hot springs and Thingvellir National Park, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
 
Day 14: Enjoy Reykjavík and overnight in the city at any of our three Fosshotels or similar.
 
Day 15: Depart for home.
