Day 2: Stroll through Reykjavík city centre, visit the Family Park and Farm Animal Zoo and go to an outdoor swimming pool. Don’t miss the view platform at “Perlan” where you also can enjoy a delicious ice cream. Younger children might like to feed the ducks and swans at the city pond and on a warm summer day you might just like to relax in Nauthólsvík, a small beach with a hot tub not far from the center of Reykjavík, before driving on to Borgarfjörður, the saga valley. Three nights in a family room at Fosshótel Reykholt or similar in Iceland. |
| |
Day 3: Snæfellsnes peninsula awaits you. Explore the seal colony at Ytri-Tunga. Stykkisholmur is a pretty fishing village with many old houses. We recommend the boat tour on Breiðafjordur fjord. |
