Day 1: Arrival in Iceland. Drive on to Borgarfjörður, the saga valley and stay 3 nights at Fosshótel Reykholt or similar. |

Day 2:
Bifröst area awaits, where you can explore the unique lava landscape on a walk around Glanni waterfall, Grábrók volcano and Hreðavatn Lake. |

Day 3:
Explore Hraunfossar waterfall, Husafell, with its delightful walking trails, and Glymur, Iceland’s highest waterfall. |

Day 4:
Drive north to Skagafjörður, the valley of the horses. Vatnsnes peninsula awaits you, with a multitude of short, beautiful hiking routes. See the seal colony at Hindisvík. 2 nights at Fosshótel Husavik or similar. |

Day 5:
Climb the mountain peaks of Molduxi or Tindastoll in Sauðárkrókur, or visit the turf church Víðimýri and the folk museum Glaumbær. |

Day 6:
At Siglufjörður and Ólafsfjörður you will find numerous possibilities for walks and hikes of varying distances, all offering a stunning panoramic view. Stop en route at Goðafoss, the waterfall of the gods. 2 nights at Fosshotel Laugar or Fosshotel Husavik. |

Day 7:
Explore the sights of Lake Mývatn, Námaskarð hot springs and Krafla lava fields with countless fascinating walks, each taking 1-3 hours. |

Day 8:
Drive around Tjörnes peninsula to Ásbyrgi, Hljóðaklettar and Dettifoss (mid-June – August), Europe’s most powerful waterfall, and continue on to East Iceland. |

Day 9: Spend your day walking around Lake Lögurinn, Hallormsstaður forest and Fardagafoss and Hengifoss waterfalls. |

Day 10: Enjoy the dramatic East Fjords before reaching Europe’s largest glacier, Vatnajökull. Walk at Búlandsnes and enjoy the exotic and rich bird life. Overnight at Fosshótel Vatnajokull or similar. |

Day 11: Drive along the south coast and witness many natural wonders, including a glacial lagoon and Skaftafell National Park, where we recommend a hike to Svartifoss waterfall, the rock Sjónarsker and the rim of Skaftafellsjökull glacier . Stop at Reynishverfi and Dyrhólaey to explore the black beach and see the puffins. 3 nights at Fosshótel Mosfell in Hella or Fosshótel Hengill in Nesjavellir. |

Day 12: Þjórsárdalur valley fascinates with its myriad waterfalls such as Gjáinn, Hjálparfoss and Háifoss, all dominated by the powerful volcano Hekla, well worth taking a day to explore (note: 7 km each way). Visit the historical farm Stöng, time permitting. |

Day 13: Visit Gullfoss waterfall, Geysir hot springs, Kerið volcanic crater, Þingvellir National Park and enjoy these phenomena by hiking around. |

Day 14:
Enjoy the spectacular Hengill region with its variety of challenging hiking trails. Overnight in Reykjavík. |

| Day 15: Depart for home. |
