Our regional tours are designed for 8 to 11 days and are perfect for those who want to see the most during their vacation without driving too much. The tours are set up with a couple of nights in each hotel, so the driving and moving between the hotels will be kept to a minimum, so you will have more time to discover the surrounding of the hotel.

North Iceland
Valid: January - November
This tour takes you directly to the sights of North Iceland, such as Europe’s most powerful waterfall, the Dettifoss, or the famous lake Mývatn, as well as the very cozy capital of the north Iceland: Akureyri.
During this tour you will stay in Fosshótel Dalvík, perfect to discover the historical sites and the impressive landscape of Tröllaskagi peninsula. From here it is a short drive to Akureyri where you can visit the beautiful botanical garden and the famous Christmas store.
Further you will have accommodations in Fosshótel Húsavík or Fosshótel Laugar (open 01.06-18.08) from where you have the perfect access to the lake Mývatn area with its mystical pseudo craters and the active volcano zone around Krafla. Further we recommend a whale watching cruise off the Húsavík bay. One of the must see highlights in North Iceland is the powerful waterfall Dettifoss on the Tjörnes peninsula.
On your way back to Reykjavík you might travel via the highland road Kjölur. This road leads you on its rough ways through the Icelandic wild highland between two of its largest glaciers, the Hofsjökull and the Langjökull. The scenic drive over this 160 km gravel road of pure wilderness is a memory you will never forget.
South Iceland

With our South Iceland package you have the opportunity to discover the south coast of Iceland with all its sights. The south of Iceland is sometimes called the golden coast because of its ever changing scenery, even though it has black lava beaches. This tour gives you all time to discover these sights very intensive.
In this South Iceland tour you will have accommodations in Fosshótel Mosfell, Fosshótel Skaftafell and Fosshótel Vatnajökull. From there you can discover the Golden Circle with the hot spring Geysir, the waterfall Gullfoss and the UNESCO World Heritage Site Thingvellir. On your way along the south coast you will discover the waterfalls Seljalandsfoss and Skógarfoss. Further can you visit the folk museum in Skógar. From Skaftafell we recommend a walk on the glacier or a hike in Skaftafell National Park with stunning views over Europe’s biggest glacier, Vatnajökull. Just the drive along the southern edge of this glacier will give you an unforgettable view. One of the most beautiful sights of Iceland will be lying just next to the street where you are driving. The amazing glacier lagoon Jökulsárlón with its huge white and blue shimmering icebergs floating in the lagoon is a must stop on your way.
Another highlight will be the return drive to Reykjavík via the Icelandic highland, the so called Fjallabaksvegur. This drive is 4x4 only but is worth every single meter of its bendy rough gravel track through the highland. You will pass the pearl of the highland, Landmannalaugar with its own natural warm pool, where you can rest and relax before heading home.
West Iceland
Valid: March - October
The West Iceland tour takes you mainly to the Snæfellsnes peninsula. “Iceland in a nutshell”, were you can discover the different sights of the island on the 90 km long peninsula. The main sight of the peninsula is the Snæfellsjökull, this glacier covered former volcano with its 1.446 m height rises majestically from the western most part of the peninsula. This tour will offer you the time to explore the Snæfellsnes National Park with long hikes or a snowmobiling trip on the glacier. Further do we recommend a boat cruise on Breiðarfjörður Fjord for whale watching, a visit on the remote island Flatey or for a daytrip to the picturesque Westfjords.
During your trip you will have accommodations in Fosshótel Reykholt and our partner hotel Hótel Ólafsvík in the heart of the Snæfellsnes peninsula.
With this tour you are able to discover the most different landscapes of Iceland with the least of driving.
